March 27, 2017 — Yumei Choi, 56, right, and her husband Wenhua Chiu, 60, left, chill in the sofa in their house Monday afternoon in Qunicy, MA. Choi said she immigrated to the United States from HongKong with her husband. “We came here to take care of my father-in-law. He got cancer at that time,” Choi said. “I still can’t get used to live here even though it has already been ten years.” Choi’s fater-in-law passed away five years ago. Now she lives in Qunicy, MA and works as a cashier in Boston University dinning hall. “I miss my friends in HongKong and I go back there every year,” Choi said. Photo by Yvonne Shijie Ye.
