Feb. 2, 2017 — Ellice Patterson performs her opening dance about her personal struggle dealing with a physical disability during rehearsal at the Multicultural Arts Center in Cambridge MA, Thursday night. After receiving metal rods in her spine as part of a corrective surgery, Patterson said she had difficulty finding a dance company that would work with her limitations. “So I made a company called Ability and here we are rehearsing our first performance,” said Patterson.
